I want a house in a beachfront or lake, away from other houses, there would be a secret passage with a cozy lounge and emergency food stash in case of a zombie apocalypse and we would design it together because well, we’re both architects, we would argue with the smallest details but come up with a compromise anyway, it will have an entertainment room for gaming just as you like it and i will get a big kitchen with an oven and a library with a drafting table, we will have a small garden just to plant some stuff, and an attic to store things we didn’t need but we wanna keep, the living room will have big windows with a great view of the water and will be big enough to fit our visitors, I want a swing outside too and a porch with a table, we’ll get a bike and maybe a car but just for travelling far, we will get a pet, i’m a dog person and you’re a cat person so we’ll get both, they might fight but we’ll get a small dog so my dog won’t kill your cat, i might get a fish too, we’ll hang paintings and photos of random things we like, we’ll paint the house in pastel colors or colors of the ocean. You’ll go to work and i’ll stay by the house doing occasional projects and we’ll earn just enough, we’ll travel but we’ll always go back. Go back to our dream house.

How is it possible to be this content with life right now? After everything I’ve been through, it’s kinda new to have no problem at all. I am in love, with this amazing person, I am in love with the places I’ve been in and will go to soon, I am in love with people, my family and friends, I am in love with life. And it’s crazy, looking back a little over 3 months from today, I was devastated, I hated things, i bathe in my own misery.

I still can’t get over the fact that when you came back, I found a piece of myself with you, you brought back the life in me I forgot I even had. Being in love with you gave me butterflies when I thought I was too old for these things, you are better than any drug, you take me higher than high, and I could go on all night describing how you make me feel but I’ll never find the perfect word. I guess I’m just in love and people do say silly things when they’re in love.

I am writing this so when I look back in my blog, sad for whatever reason, I can remember how I felt today, and I can relive this feeling and remind myself why I chose you, why i chose us. And no matter how down we are or I am, things will get better again. I am happy and I wish we can stay this happy for as long as we can.

We are not perfect. We fight, we misunderstand each other, but i wouldn’t have it any other way. We are perfectly imperfect, just the way I like it :)
